Discord

Rich Presence puts your game in the player's Discord profile: "Playing Orbit Racer, Sector 7, wave 12", with your art and an elapsed-time clock. The RPC client runs in the app's main process; your game's JavaScript makes typed promise calls with no native code and no Discord SDK to bundle.

Set it up in the dashboard's Discord section (games only): create an application at discord.com/developers, paste its Application ID, and optionally set the default activity lines shown from launch. Art assets (the image keys below) are uploaded on that same portal under Rich Presence → Art Assets.

When Discord isn't available; the integration is off, or the player doesn't run Discord, every method resolves { success: false, reason } (disabled | not-running | connect-failed) instead of throwing.

Status

const { available, reason } = await window.deskifier.discord.getStatus();

Setting activity

details renders as the first line, state as the second. The elapsed-time clock starts at app launch; pass resetTimer: true to restart it (a new run, a new match):

await window.deskifier.discord.setActivity({
  details: 'Sector 7',
  state: 'Wave 12, 3 lives',
  largeImageKey: 'cover', // an Art Asset key from the dev portal
  largeImageText: 'Orbit Racer',
  resetTimer: true,
});

Party info renders as "(2 of 4)":

await window.deskifier.discord.setActivity({ state: 'In lobby', partySize: 2, partyMax: 4 });

Clearing

Back to the default lines configured in the dashboard:

await window.deskifier.discord.clearActivity();
