GDevelop games

Take your GDevelop game to every store

GDevelop gets your game built. Deskifier gets it released: signed Windows, macOS and Linux builds, uploaded to Steam, Epic and itch.io from one dashboard, with the settings menu and save handling players expect.

GDevelop exports to desktop. What’s left?

GDevelop can package desktop builds itself, and has Steamworks support, so you can ship without us. What it leaves to you is everything after the build:

  • Uploading to each store: steamcmd scripts for Steam, BuildPatchTool for Epic, butler for itch.io.
  • Signing, so macOS and Windows open your game without a security warning.
  • Settings players expect: window mode, resolution, monitor and volume, which you’d otherwise build as a scene.
  • Protecting saves that live in browser storage and vanish on a reinstall.

Deskifier handles those, starting from GDevelop’s HTML5 export.

What your GDevelop game gets

One-button store uploads
Steam, Epic and itch.io, each pushed per platform from the Builds page. No command-line tools.
Signed and notarised
Players open your game without an “unidentified developer” wall on macOS or a SmartScreen warning on Windows.
A settings menu you didn’t build
Window mode, resolution scale, monitor, volume and quit, over your game. No settings scene to make.
Saves that survive
Storage is backed up to a visible GameSaves folder and restored after a reinstall. Players can export their saves.
Steam features
Achievements, stats, cloud saves and rich presence, callable from JavaScript code events.
Discord Rich Presence
Your game on each player’s Discord profile, with your art and what they’re doing.
