Deskifier for FlutterFlow

Put your FlutterFlow app on the desktop

FlutterFlow already publishes your app to the web. Deskifier turns that web app into signed desktop installers for Mac, Windows and Linux, without a Flutter toolchain on your machine.

The native Flutter route, honestly

Flutter can build real native desktop apps, and if you’re comfortable leaving the visual editor, that’s a genuine option. It means:

  • Downloading your code and building it with the Flutter SDK locally. FlutterFlow lists its desktop targets as alpha and doesn’t build or support them for you.
  • Xcode on a Mac and Visual Studio on Windows, one build machine per OS.
  • Checking your packages: not every plugin your app uses supports desktop.
  • Signing, notarisation and an updater, set up yourself.

Deskifier is the no-toolchain path. It wraps the web app FlutterFlow already publishes, so you keep building visually and every publish reaches desktop users.

What your FlutterFlow app gains

Stay in the visual editor
No code download, no local Flutter SDK. Publish from FlutterFlow as you do now.
Three desktops at once
Mac, Windows and Linux builds from one project, built on managed infrastructure, not your laptop.
Tray and launch at login
A tray or menu bar icon and background running for apps people keep open.
Native notifications
Real OS notifications, triggered from custom code or actions that call the Deskifier SDK.
Signed installers
Notarised for macOS and Azure-signed for Windows, with no security warnings.
Updates without rebuilds
Publish in FlutterFlow and desktop users get it on their next load. The shell updates itself in the background.
